Orange Grove Elementary students learn about flags with Officer Vasquez
ORANGE GROVE - Officer Robert Vasquez represented Nueces County Constables Office Precinct 5 and Military Veterans at the Orange Grove Elementary School Thursday morning. The faculty and staff welcomed Vasquez and allowed him to mentor fifth and third graders who are the school’s Flag detail this year.

Alice awarded $3,200 to prevent illegal dumping
The City of Alice announced Wednesday that they were awarded a $3,200 grant from Coastal Bend Council of Governments from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s Solid Waste Grants Program for local enforcement efforts that contribute to the prevention of illegal dumping.
