SAN DIEGO - Prizes, plastic eggs, face painting and the Easter Bunny were just a few off the activities at the Vera's Trucking Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 3. Giveaways for the children included baby chicks, bikes, baskets and scooters.

Senior Celeste Torres was the winner of the Alice Rotary Club's 4-way Speech Contest Wednesday, March 30. Torres' topic was on fine arts within the school district and it's importance.

KINGSVILLE — Volunteer evacuations have been ordered in Ricardo and Riviera and a part of State Highway 285 is closed as multiple agencies are working to contain fires that began in Kleberg County on Wednesday at the King Ranch.

The first Alzheimer’s Committee meeting for Alice, Jim Wells County and surrounding area was held on Thursday, March 24. It was hosted by The Premier of Alice in collaboration with City of Alice, Alice Independent School District, CHRISTUS Spohn and community supporters.
