Local school districts offering the Summer Feeding Program

Summer is here, and local school districts in partnership with the Texas Department of Agriculture have the summer feeding program in action. The programs will provide meals for families in need and ensure no kid goes hungry during the summer. Below is the list of local districts and their pick up times and locations.

Freer ISD

Summer Feeding Curbside Meal Program will start June 1 through June 26. Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Meals will be provided at the Secondary Elementary.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided during elected times and location.

Ages 1-18 years of age

Premont ISD

Summer Feeding program will start June 3 -July and offer free meals Monday - Thursday.

Breakfast and Lunch will be served

Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

All will be served at Premont Early College Academy

Ages 1-18 years of age

Orange Grove ISD

Summer Feeding will only be held June 1 through June 30 on Monday and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Elementary Campus.

Grab-n-Go meal pick up will remain the same.

On those days, you will receive both breakfast and lunch for the following day.

For meal quality purposes, the meals given for the following day will be frozen and will come with instructions. Meals will not be distributed for Fridays.

Alice ISD

Summer Feeding Program is offered at the below locations Monday - Thursday from 10:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. Dinner meals will be provided along with breakfast and lunch and weekend meals are provided on Friday.

Teceolote Community Center

Cameron Village Apartments

Ben Bolt - Pailito Blanco ISD

Meals will provided starting June 3 through June 30. Curbside and delivery will be available Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Curbside will be available at the Ben Bolt - Pailito Blanco High School. Meals will include breakfast and lunch.
