JWC reports 13th COVID-19 case
A 50-year-old woman is the 13th reported coronavirus (COVID-19) case in Jim Wells County.
The Texas Health and Human Services notified the county judge’s office on Saturday about the newest case. According to a press release from the Texas Health and Human Services, the woman contracted COVID-19 when she came in contact with another individual who was positive for the virus.
The woman is currently isolated and is working with JWC to identify any close contacts the woman had.
