The Alice Lady Coyotes completed the regular season on a high note by defeating Laredo Martin on the road Tuesday night, 38-35.

With the victory, the Alice girls finish the regular season in third place in District 29-5A. The Lady Coyotes will have a match-up against District 30-5A’s Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial or Victoria West, who finished the season as co-district champions.

The two schools will determine on Wednesday if the district championship is decided with a district playoff game or a coin toss. Alice will face 30-5A’s district runner-up.

The Lady Coyotes did what they needed to for the win Tuesday night. Uly Perez scored a game-high 11 points and Jackie Barrera scored 10.
