A group of young Jui Jitsu students from Fit2Fight Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Alice held their own in the 2018 Fuji Jiu Jitsu Kids and Teens Tournament at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown.

Deidra Lopez won first place in Nogi and second place in Gi.

Jose Chapa took third place in Nogi and third place in Gi.

Brandon Gonzalez was second in Nogi and third in Gi.

Noel Gonzalez placed first in Gi and second in Nogi.

William Park was first in Nogi and first in Gi.

Some of the group’s heavier students competed in the Submission Hunter Pro Grappling Super Fights.

Tres Gonzalez won his bout via and arm-bar submission hold. Israel Banda and Anthony Ramirez each had draws in their matches.

Anthony Ramirez competed in the adult Super Fight competition.
