CORPUS CHRISTI — Juan Garza had a “hat trick” to lead the Alice Coyotes to a 4-0 win against the Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers Tuesday night at Cabaniss Field.

Aside from Garza’s three goals, the Coyotes also had a goal from Zack Zertuche.

Marcus Gaza and Jordy Esquivel were both credited with assists.

Goalie Morris Molina had three saves and Dandrew Urrutia had one.

Alice is now 3-2-1 in District 30-5A. The Coyotes are two points behind third place Calallen, three behind second place Ray and four behind first-place Gregory-Portland.

Alice is on the road back in Corpus Christi to face King Friday night.
