The Wildcats beat Alice, 7-4, in Tuesday at the Alice Coyote Baseball Complex behind 13 hits.

Andrew Gonzalez led the way with two extra base hits. He doubled in the third inning and tripled in the fifth inning.

Ricky Arevalo got the win in relief for the Wildcats. Arevalo pitched two innings and allowed no runs.

Gonzalez, Nathan Rabe and Kale Emsoff helped lead the Wildcats. They combined for seven hits and four RBIs.

Zackary Martinez was charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out three. Despite the loss, Martinez managed to work his way out of a couple of early jams.

In the top of the first, the Wildcats grabbed the early lead, 1-0. The Wildcats' offense woke up as John Gaddis singled before Emsoff singled, scoring Clay Faught.

The game's last lead went to the Wildcats thanks to a third inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on an RBI single by Rabe.

The Wildcats added three more runs in the top of the fifth. A triple by Gonzalez ignited the offense, plating Faught. That was followed up by Emshoff’s single, bringing home Gonzalez.

Three runs in the bottom of the fifth helped Alice close its deficit to 5-4. An RBI single by Martinez and a two-run single by Kevin Hill triggered Alice 's comeback.

The Wildcats piled on two more runs in the top of the seventh.
