Alice - Jose Sanchez 84 years of age passed away on October 17, 2021 in Elgin, Texas. He was an oilfield tool pusher for over 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to all. He is preceded in death by his wife Irma A. Sanchez, sons Joey Sanchez, Alberto Sanchez, Javier Sanchez. Survivors include his son Juan Gilberto (Norma) Sanchez, two daughters Irma (Andre) Arredondo, Teresa (Tony) Solis, sisters Ida Soto and Lamar Chapa, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice, Texas followed by the Memorial Mass. Burial will follow the Mass at the New Collins Cemetery. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes are entrusted with the arrangements. Due to Covid-19 Pandemic we ask that everyone continue to wear a mask and social distance at the church and at the cemetery.
