Manuel "Meme" Flores

Alice - Manuel "Meme" Flores passed away October 17, 2021 in a hospital in Austin, Texas. He was 81. Meme was born March 18, 1940 in Alice, Texas to Andrea Barco Flores and Manuel Flores. Meme served in the United States Army. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and going to casinos. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrea and Manuel Flores; sisters, Zulema Smith, and Myrtle.

Survivors include his companion of 17 years, Norma Matherne of Alice, Texas; son, Anthony (Kaycee) Flores of Tynan, Texas; daughters, Josefina Flores of Crystal City, Texas and Stacie Trevino of San Diego, Texas. Other survivors include his brother, Lalo (Beba) Villalobo of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Lucia (George) Dennison of Houston, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9 am on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Rosas Funeral Home with a funerals service to begin at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at the New Collins Cemetery.
