Michael Wade Duncan

Michael Wade Duncan better known as Wade by family, friends and colleagues passed away suddenly on November 3rd, 2021, at the age of 63 surrounded by loving family. Wade was born May 27, 1958, in Alice, Texas to his parents Milton Ray Duncan and Geraldine (Crider) Duncan both now deceased. He graduated from Alice High School in 1976 and started his impressive career in the oil field industry working for Patterson Services in Texas where he retired after 24 years, then went to work for Knight Oil Tools in Wyoming for 6 years and went on to be president of Great Plains Oilfield Rental from 2006-2009. He was instrumental in helping people start and move up in their careers and was a kind and fair man to work for.

Wade had a passion for music and was an accomplished song writer with many published titles. He also loved and enjoyed the rodeo and was a bull rider in his younger years. More than anything Wade loved his children, family and friends and would do anything within his power to help others when he was able to do so. He was a kind man with a big heart.

Wade had 3 children Brandi Duncan, Landon Duncan, and Logan Duncan who he loved dearly. He married his love Gena Sprague Duncan in 2019 who has 3 children Jaden Schmidt, Joshua Tinsley, Zachary Tinsley and 2 grandbabies Brooklynn and Madalynn that he loved like his own.

Wade also had 4 brothers Wesley Ray Duncan II (deceased), James Matthew (infant deceased), Bobby Dean Duncan and William Keith Duncan along with many other extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that he also loved and adored. Wade was loved and will be missed by so many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the Flour Bluff/Corpus Christi area in Texas. A memorial fund has been set up in Wade's name.
