BEN BOLT, Texas - Roberto A. Gonzalez, 56, of Ben Bolt, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007 in a San Antonio hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Gonzalez; and his father-in-law, Bernabe Lopez.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Gonzalez of Ben Bolt, Texas; one son, Luis (Angelica) Gonzalez of Ben Bolt; two daughters, Velma (Lorenzo) Soliz and Roberta (Francisco) Rodriguez, both of Ben Bolt, Texas; his mother, Francisca Gonzalez of Rios, Texas; mother-in-law, Blaza Lopez of Ben Bolt; three brothers, Guadalupe Gonzalez Jr. of Houston, Texas, Raul (Belinda) Gonzalez of Beeville, Texas, and Reynaldo (Linda) Gonzalez of Channelview, Texas; one sister, Gilda (Paulo) Trevino of Corpus Christi, Texas; four sisters-in-law, America Nino of Ben Bolt, Lydia Garcia of Alice, Texas, Isabel Garcia of Ben Bolt, and Belinda (Rey) Cantu of Alice; two brothers-in-law, Mario (Gloria) Lopez of Agua Dulce, Texas, and Joe (Maggie) Lopez of Eagle Pass, Texas; 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Ruben M. Garcia and Sons Funeral Services, Inc. with a Rosary to be recited this evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2007 at St. Theresa Catholic Church of Premont, Texas, with burial following at Davila Cemetery.

KINGSVILLE, Texas - Gaudencio E. Moreno, 81, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away June 25, 2007 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born February 12, 1926 in Los Saenz, Texas, to Samuel and Juanita Moreno. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was retired from Richters Bakeries as a retail manager.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Estella C. Moreno of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son, Raul (Yolanda) Sanchez of Corpus Christi, Texas; three daughters, Raquel Moreno of Austin, Texas, and Maria Moreno and Olga Moreno, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; four sisters, Christina Sandoval of Alice, Texas, and Natalia Alvarez, Leonila dela Paz and Teodora Escobar, all of Kingsville, Texas; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Isidoro Garcia, O.M.I., officiating.

Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
