Janice Koliba, 65, of Corpus Christi died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008. She was born Feb. 6, 1943 in Corpus Christi to Alto and Doris Springer Webb. Mrs. Koliba was employed by the Calallen I.S.D. as a paraprofessional and retired after 22 years of service. She was a member of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church. As a reflection of her love for people, she gave the gift of life through organ donation.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Koliba of Corpus Christi; her sons, David (Bonnie) Koliba of Allen, and Chris (Carrie) Koliba of Corpus Christi; her brother, Charles Webb of San Antonio; her sister, Cathy Webb of Houston; and three grandchildren, Austin, Ryan and Lauren Koliba.
A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Morgan Rowsome as celebrant. Burial followed in Seaside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Austin Koliba, Chance Parker, Carlos Cavazos, William Negrotto, Alex Ochoa and Ray Dragoo.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Webb and Pat Koliba.
