Lopez

AGUA DULCE, Texas - Angelito Perez Lopez of Agua Dulce, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on August 2, 1926 to Simon and Prajedes Lopez.

He served in the United States Army and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1990 from the Agua Dulce Independent School District after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brothers, Jose Maria Lopez and Fidencio Lopez.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Delia Lopez of Agua Dulce; daughters, Belinda Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Cynthia Lopez of San Antonio, Texas, and Norma (Joe) Lopez of Ben Bolt, Texas; five brothers, Simon Lopez Jr. of Stocksdale, Texas, Augustin (Margaret) Lopez of Agua Dulce, Texas, Frederico (Julia) Lopez of Lagarto, Texas, Rosalio (Leonor) Lopez of Alice, Texas, and Bernardino (Amelia) Lopez of San Patricio, Texas; two sisters, Elida Ramos of Kempner, Texas, and Duvelsa Hernandez of Agua Dulce, Texas; a sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Chapel A, Ruben M. Garcia and Sons Funeral Services with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. the same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church in Agua Dulce, Texas. Interment will follow at Alice Cemetery with military honors conducted by the United Veterans Burial Association of Alice.

Longoria

PALITO BLANCO, Texas - Analisa Denise Longoria, 17, passed away January 21, 2007 at her residence in Palito Blanco. She was a very special daughter and granddaughter. She enjoined watching Barney and loved Tejano music. She would light up your day by just smiling and laughing. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ruben Gaza; and her paternal grandfather, Baldemar Longoria.

Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Sylvia Gaza Longoria of Palito Blanco, Texas; maternal grandmother, Annie Gomez Gaza of Palito Blanco, Texas; paternal grandmother, Dolores Perez Longoria of Beeville, Texas; one sister, Ashley Longoria of Palito Blanco, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. that evening at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home of Alice. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial following at the Roselawn Cemetery in Alice, Texas.

ALICE, Texas - Michael Albert Lopez, 33, passed away January 19, 2007 in an Alice hospital. He was a native of Alice. He was a graduate of Alice High School, class of 1992. He was a self-employed rig consultant. Michael was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose M. Lopez; and one sister, Rosa L. Benavides.

Survivors include his wife, Monica S. Lopez of Alice, Texas; one son, Joseph Michael Lopez of Alice, Texas; one daughter, Mia Esperanza Lopez of Alice, Texas; his mother, Jesusa V. Lopez of Alice, Texas; four sisters, Prexy Zertuche of Alice, Texas, Adela (Bob) Jarrell of Columbus, Ohio, and Esmeralda (Lupe) Morin and Sylvia (Mark) De Leon, both of Alice, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice; with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Alice. Services will be concluded after celebrating the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

ALICE, Texas - Victor Manuel Munoz Jr., 27, passed away January 21, 2007 in a San Antonio hospital after a short illness. He was a 1997 graduate of Alice High School. He attended Texas A&M - Kingsville and was a plant supervisor for F.D.F. Ltd. Services in Alice, Texas. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raul and Ella Munoz; and his maternal grandmother, Gloria R. Valverde.

Survivors include his fianc/e, Yesenia Quinones of Alice, Texas; one son, Joshua Matthew Munoz of Alice, Texas; his parents, Victor Manuel Sr. and Belinda Munoz, both of Alice, Texas; his maternal grandfather, Samuel Valverde of Alice, Texas; two sisters, Melissa Munoz and Vanessa Munoz, both of Alice, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church and burial will follow at the Roberson-Collins Cemetery.

Trevino

ALICE, Texas - Delia U. Trevino, 83, of Alice, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Baltazar Trevino; her parents, Zaragosa and Refugia Uribe; one son, Jose Luis Trevino; five brothers, Eusebio, Gilberto, Jose, Alonzo and David Uribe; and two sisters, Maria Lichenberger and Zobeida Ruiz.

Survivors include four daughters, Edna (Roy) Hernandez of Alice, Texas, Norma (Ruben) Rendon of Robstown, Texas, Melba Precious of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Rafaela "Fela" (Joe) Rubio of Alice, Texas; one sister, Leonor Rangel of Alice, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Chapel B, Ruben M. Garcia and Sons Funeral Services, Inc. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Interment will follow at New Collins Cemetery.
