SAN?DIEGO, Texas  – Salome J. Espinosa, 49, a long time resident of San Diego, Texas, died January 23, 2010 after a sudden illness. He enjoyed coaching Little League and Little Miss Kickball. He was a plant superintendent for Uranium Resources, Inc.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus B. Espinosa Sr.; and his parents-in-law.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Diana Trigo Espinosa; three daughters, Crystal (Mario Rodriguez Jr.) Espinosa, Christina Espinosa and Christa Espinosa, all of San Diego, Texas; his mother, Elia J. Espinosa of San Diego, Texas; five brothers, Jesus Jessie (Zulema) Espinosa of Alice, Texas, Carlos “Cale” (Sylvia Ann) Espinosa of San Diego, Texas, Jimmy (Maria) Espinosa of Alice, Texas, and Juan (Pat) Espinosa Sr. and Luis “Boy” Espinosa both of San Diego, Texas; one sister, Sylvia Epinosa of Corpus Christi, Texas; three grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas.  Interment will follow at San Diego Cemetery in San Diego, Texas.
