Anna A. Hinojosa, age 55, passed away at St Luke’s Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas on February 10, 2017. Anna was born and raised in Alice, Texas.
She was a graduate of Alice High School and worked for Whataburger, Walmart, and Long John Silver’s until her illness no longer allowed her to do so. She was a loving person who adored her family and will be sorrowfully missed.
Anna is survived by her parents, Jose And Olga Anguiano; husband, Mauricio Hinojosa Sr.; brother, Jose H. Anguiano; sister, Leticia Anguiano; sons, Mauricio Hinojosa Jr. (Jessica), Ricardo Hinojosa, Marcos Hinojosa; daughter, Andrea Hinojosa (Alex Rubio); grandchildren, Leena Hinojosa, Ricardo Hinojosa Jr., Jaidene Melo, Troy Ramirez, Alexavier Ramirez, Devin Melo, Alejandro Rubio, Mauricio Hinojosa lll, Aylleen Rubio, Lillyth Hinojosa; great grandchild, Jesiha L. Bueno; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on, Wednesday, February 15, 2017, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St.; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.
Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Alice, Texas.
Interment to follow at Gonzalez-Anguiano Family Cemetery located at 935 FM 1554 Alice, Texas. Services are under the direction of Bobby Treviño. Condolences may be left at www.trevinofuneralhome.net.
