Prisciliana R. "Leticia" Corona, 88, was called home on Sunday, February 21, 2016 in a Corpus Christi hospital after a sudden illness. She was born in Villa Cecilia, Tamaulipas, Mexico on January 4, 1928 to her parents, Jose and Margarita Ruiz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donato Corona; her parents; a grandson, Ramiro Ramirez Jr.; three brothers, Jose Ruiz, Encarnacion Ruiz and Tomas Ruiz.

Prisciliana is survived by her daughter, Magdalena Flores (Adolfo Salinas) of San Diego, Texas; one sister, Maria de Jesus Ruiz of Tijuana, Mexico; two grandsons, six great grandchildren; one granddaughter-in-law, a special niece; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas. Cremation will follow.
