Earlier this week, the Ben Bolt Middle School National Junior Honor Society held a special community event for elderly living around the middle school campus. About 50 local elderly residents, along with grandparents of NJHS members, were treated to a dinner as well as some entertainment from the Kingsville Youth Ballet Folklorico.

The dinnerís opening prayer was conducted by Macy Thorne followed by a welcome and introduction of guests by NJHS President Ariana Rodriguez. The closing was done by NJHS Vice President Cip Trejo and each attendee received a small gift before leaving.

NJHS Sponsor Naida DeLaPaz said the organization plans to make the dinner an annual event.
