An A/C unit was stolen from a building on Commerce St.
As an officer arrived on scene he made contact with an employee who reported the theft, Garrett Pratz. Pratz said he left work Friday, May 11, at 5 p.m. and locked the gates before he left. When he arrived to work Monday morning, he found the gates open to the yard and the lock missing.
Pratz said he walked into the building and turned on the office A/C, after awhile he noticed that the office area was not getting cool. Pratz then walked out to the back of the building and found that over the weekend, unknown suspects stole the building's Lennex outdoor A/C unit.
There were no camera in the area and the unit is valued at $3,000.
