A 39-year-old driver allegedly struck a parked vehicle that had a domino effect and hit two other parked trucks on South Reynolds, police report said.

Samuel G. Rojas was charged with failure to control speed and had an open container in the car.

The police report said Rojas and his passenger, Larry Gonzalez, 41, were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The report stated Rojas was traveling southbound in the 700 block of Reynolds about 9 p.m. Saturday in his 2006 Red Ford F-150 when he allegedly hit a parked F-250 Ford truck that hit a 2008 Toyota Corolla.

The parked Corolla traveled across Cactus Street and hit the third vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.

The vehicles were all parked and the occupants were inside a church service.

Jail officials said Rojas was not arrested.
