The Alice Independent School District released the campaign finance report for board trustee place 5 candidate Antonio “Tony” Bill.
According to the report, Bill has received $500 in total political contributions, including $200 from Guadalupe Martinez on April 1 and two contributions of $150 from Arnoldo Salinas on April 1 and 8.
Bill also received a loan of $2,000 from Diana Bill on March 28 for the campaign.
According to the report, Bill has spent $1,583.95 in total political expenditures, including $351 for advertising with the Alice Echo-News Journal on March 28, $1,147.45 for advertising with Arrow Display Signs in Corpus Christi and $85 for advertising materials with McCoy’s Building Supply in Alice.
Alice ISD Assistant Superintendent Dr. Melonae Day said that trustees Mike Cochran (Place 1), R. David Guerrero (Place 4) and Lee Ramon (Place 5) are under modified reporting and are not required to file a report if their campaign contributions or spending do not exceed $500.
Campaign Finance Reports for candidates in the City of Alice City Council elections were not available as of press time.
