JWC grand jury hands down a list of indictments

A 22-year old man who allegedly threatened an H-E-B employee with a box-cutter knife while attempting to steal medication from the store's pharmacy center in November was indicted by a grand jury this week.

According to court records, Eric Lee Ramos was indicted for aggravated robbery in connection with a Nov. 21, 2006 incident in which he allegedly was confronted by a store manager at the H-E-B store while allegedly attempting to shoplift medication from the store. According to Alice Police Department records, Ramos then pulled a box-cutter out of his pocket and threatened the manager, before fleeing the store. He was apprehended a short time later on Olmito Street.

Juan Manuel Chapa was indicted for possession of marijuana in connection with an Oct. 25, 2006 incident in which he allegedly was found in possession of more than 50 pounds of marijuana. Ruben Bueno was indicted for possession of methadone in connection with a Sept. 26, 2006 incident in which he allegedly was found to be in possession of more than one gram of methadone. Arnoldo Balboa was indicted for possession of cocaine in connection with a Jan. 26, 2006 incident in which he was allegedly found in possession of less than one gram of cocaine. San Juana Alejos was indicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in connection with a June 4, 2006 incident in which she allegedly operated a motor vehicle without the permission of the vehicle's owner. Jaime Adame was indicted on one count of possession of cocaine and one count of possession of marijuana in connection with a March 2, 2006 incident in which he was allegedly found in possession of more than four grams of cocaine and more than four ounces of marijuana. Charles Edward Solano was indicted for possession of marijuana in connection with an Oct. 12, 2006 incident in which he was allegedly found in possession of more than 50 pounds of marijuana. Ronald Salinas was indicted for burglary of a habitation in connection with a Feb. 2, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke into a home. Victor Rene Ramirez was indicted for prohibited substances in a correctional facility in connection with a May 6, 2006 incident in which he allegedly was found in possession of marijuana while in the Jim Wells County jail. Lorenzo Rodriguez was indicted for criminal mischief in connection with a June 17, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke several items totalling more than $1,500 in the mobile home of a woman. Richard Ramos was indicted for possession of a controlled substance in connection with a Sept. 3, 2006 incident in which he allegedly was found in possession of more than one gram of cocaine. Eden Pina was indicted for evading arrest with a motor vehicle in connection with an Oct. 23, 2006 incident in which Pina allegedly fled from a police officer. Mario Perez Jr. was indicted for burglary of a habitation in connection with a Jan. 1, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke into a home. Freddy Martinez was indicted for burglary of a building in connection with an Oct. 17, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke into the G and G Loan building. Felix Jesus Mungia was indicted for burglary of a building in connection with a May 8, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke into a city building. Jesus Trini Moya was indicted for possession of cocaine in connection with a July 15, 2005 incident in which he allegedly was found in possession of more than four grams of cocaine. Robert Lopez was indicted for evading arrest with a motor vehicle in connection with a Sept. 3, 2006 incident in which he allegedly fled from a law enforcement officer. Gilberto Lopez was indicted for possession of cocaine in connection with an April 1, 2006 incident in which he allegedly was found in possession of less than one gram of cocaine. Stephanie Diane Jackson was indicted for prohibited substances in a correctional facility in connection with an Oct. 4, 2006 incident in which she was allegedly found in possession of marijuana while in the Jim Wells County jail. David Omar Gutierrez was indicted for evading arrest with a vehicle in connection with a Sept. 17, 2006 incident in which he allegedly fled from a peace officer while in a motor vehicle. Daniel Gonzalez was indicted for burglary of a habitation in connection with an Oct. 9, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke into a home. Jose Gonzales was indicted for prohibited substances in a correctional facility in connection with an Oct. 20, 2006 incident in which he was allegedly found in possession of marijuana while in the Jim Wells County jail. Gilberto Gonzalez Jr. was indicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in connection with a July 6, 2006 incident in which he allegedly operated a motor vehicle without the permission of the vehicle's owner. Charles Elizondo was indicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in connection with a Nov. 22, 2006 incident in which he allegedly operated a motor vehicle without the permission of the vehicle's owner. Filiberto Figueroa Jr. was indicted for assault on a public servant in connection with a Sept. 20, 2006 incident in which he allegedly injured a law enforcement officer.
