Incoming Coastal Bend College freshmen are encouraged to attend the free 2008 Cougar Camp on the Beeville CBC campus this summer.

All area high school seniors graduating from high schools in Kleberg, Jim Wells, Bee, Live Oak, Karnes, Refugio, Duval and Atascosa counties planning to attend CBC in the fall are encouraged to attend. Applications will be accepted as long as space is available. Applications can be downloaded at or through high school counseling offices.

Cougar Camp provides these future CBC students with the opportunity to spend three days on the Beeville campus of Coastal Bend College and participate in a variety of workshops, activities and events that will help them feel connected to CBC before fall classes begin.

Students may choose between two sessions: July 8-10 and Aug. 12-14.

There is no charge to students for attending Cougar Camp.
