Deadly conduct was report to Alice police after several individuals allegedly fired numerous shots at a residence in the 300 block of W. Third Street early Monday morning.

According to police reports, at 2:35 a.m. Monday Officer Jose Gonzales responded to a residence in the 300 block of W. Third Street in reference to shots fired. The officer was told by one of the victims that she was inside the residence with her one-year-old child, her boyfriend and a female friend who was visiting when several shots were fired at the residence.

According to the report, no one was hit but several bullet casings, along with several shotgun shell casings, were located in the back alley of the residence. Gonzales also states in his report  he was advised that several individuals were seen running from the alley northbound on Peter Street and then fled in a dark colored pickup truck.

In a separate report, a resident in the 400 block of W. Third Street told police that his mother's house was also hit by a bullet. According to the report, the bullet hit a window in front of the house and traveled through the house, striking and lodging itself into a wall in the kitchen.

According to the report, Officer Juan Charles was able to dig the bullet out of the wall. He then placed the bullet into evidence. EMS was called out to check on the victim who the report states was startled and told police her heart was bothering her.

The case was referred to the criminal investigations division.
