About a six-foot diamond-back rattlesnake was discovered near a trash bin at Lake Findley by Parks and Recreation city worker Alberto Taboada. Taboada said the rattlesnakes are native to South Texas and advises individuals visiting the lake or parks in the city to be aware because this is the time of season for snakes. He said it is important for visitors to keep the parks clean of debris and trash so rodents and snakes cannot hide in it. Photo by Ofelia Garcia Hunter
