A 26-year-old man jumped from a two-story building about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and suffered injuries from the fall, police said.

Police said Nicholas Garcia jumped from two-stories to the ground at Casa Real, a residential home for elderly and mental patients, on Wyoming Street.

“He doesn't look good,” said Police Chief Daniel Bueno. “He was bleeding from his ears and mouth and that's not a good sign.”

Garcia was transported to CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice.

Officials said he lived alone.
