Twelve adults and three children from Jim Wells County on Tuesday were reported to have coronavirus (COVID-19) cases beginning the total of reported cases to 560.

* case #555: female in her 20’s


* case #556: female under 10


* case #557: female in her 60’s


* case #558: female under 10


* case #559: male in his 40’s


* case #560: female in her 40’s


According to the Texas Department of State Health Services and Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, there are 288 active cases, 269 cases removed from isolation and three deaths.


City and county officials continue to urge everyone to follow CDC guidelines such as wearing a facemask and social distancing.
