The Jim Well County Emergency Management team issued an Emergency Order effective 12:01 p.m. June, 22 that includes all persons over the age of three to wear facial coverings when in a public place.


The order highly recommends persons to stay at home, unless providing essential services and to minimize social gatherings to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.


County Judge Juan Rodriguez, states in the order the emergency order is necessary to continue the mitigation of the virus as a public health emergency.


Violations against the Emergency Order can result in a fine up to the amount of $1,000.
