On Tuesday, June 23, Duval County received confirmation of one additional coronavirus (COVID-19) case for a total of six reported.


The newest case is a female in her 20’s and a resident of San Diego, according to official sources.

"Overall, we have done well to limit the spread. However, let’s continue to be smart and disciplined. Everyone is urged to limit non-essential travel as much as possible. Stay active exercising, eat healthy, limit alcohol consumption, and wear a mask in crowded public places. We must do all we can to protect the most susceptible," said Duval County Judge Gilbert Saenz on a Facebook post.
