A 30-year-old man has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in Jim Wells County, according to JWC Judge Juan Rodriguez.
The individual is in quarantined and isolated.
Rodriguez is working with the state health department on checking exactly how many cases are in recovery and how many are left active.
This should be the county’s 10th case, however, one case may have been a resident of another county. The judge is working to verify.
Everyone is urged to continue to practice social distancing, good hygiene and follow all CDC guidelines.
