Los Vaqueros Rio Grande Trail Ride association is a small group of die-hard riders. They travel 386 miles from Reynosa, Mexico border at Hidalgo, Texas, to Houston.


On Saturday, Feb. 15, Los Vaqueros traveled through Alice as part of the 46th annual ride.


This is the longest continuous ride in existence today, that it starts two weeks ahead of the other big rides and it takes three weeks to complete, according to the trail ride association. It also takes riders through some of the most colorful country in the lower Rio Grande Valley.
