Executive Director Marissa Ford from Wildlife in Focus presented at the Alice Rotary Club meeting Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Wildlife in Focus is a non profit organization promoting nature photography and education on the wildlife and habitat conservation in Texas.

Formed in 2000, originally as the Coastal Bend Wildlife Habitual Education Program the program still has the same mission to raise public awareness to the changing demographics in Texas.

The non profit organization hosts a bi-annually photo contest to exhibit the demographic changes. The winning images are featured in Wildlife in Focus books and a traveling photo exhibit showcasing the winning photo images throughout Texas.

The organization also offers an environmental education program designed for elementary and middle school students called Kritters4Kids- that focuses on Texas wildlife.
