Aside from taking the field with Alice High School’s football program next week, coaches are hoping to teach some of the game’s basics to the youngest players.

The 2019 Coyote Football Camp is Monday through Wednesday at the Alice High School practice fields. The camp is from 6 to 8 p.m. each day.

There is a camp for seventh and eighth graders and one for second to sixth graders. The camp is being led by Alice coach Kyle Atwood and the Coyote coaching staff.

The camp will include fundamentals, skills, techniques, competition games, a 7-on-t tournament, Alice High School football philosophy and attitude and weight training technique. Every youngster will learn a position on offense and defense.

For more information or to sign up a youngster for either of the camps, call Atwood at (325) 315-8821. Registration is available on the morning of the camp.
