Lemonade Day is set for Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sixteen teams have registered and received their money from Sarita Garza, First Community Bank sponsor and Gap Alaniz, Texas Champion Bank sponsor, to start their small businesses.
The annual event will have teams made up of children from third to sixth grade. The teams will be set up at different locations around town and will have lemonade and other goodies to sell.

Bankers will take 20 percent of sales from each team to be donated to the Alice Food Pantry. The remaining money will be divided along the team members.
