Early voting for the May 4 general election came to an end Tuesday at 7 p.m. On the election ballot was City of Alice Mayor and City Council, Alice Independent School District school board members, the Alice ISD $20 million bond and the Jim Wells County Emergency Services District number 2 creation.

On Tuesday, April 30, there were 352 votes and 127 votes on Monday, April 29.

On Friday, April 26, there were 185 votes casted. 

Thursday, April 25, 156 votes were casted.

On Wednesday, April 24, there were 122 votes and there were 211 votes on Tuesday.

Monday had a total of 187 votes.

Election Day is on May 4.

JWC Emergency Services District number 2 creation

The creation of Jim Wells County Emergency Service District Number 2 and adoption of a tax on the ad valorem property situated in said district at a rate not to exceed ten cents on the one hundred dollars valuation for the support of the district.
