Alice police arrested two teenagers for in connection with a criminal trespass that occurred Thursday at the Alice High School.

According to police, the teenagers ages 17 and 18 who didn't belong on the campus premises were seen on campus. An off-duty officer attempted to stop them, but the boys ran.

According to Superintendent Dr. Carl Scarbrough, the incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. when two non-students were noticed outside on school grounds and approached by school security. 

One of the teenagers was caught outside the high school and the other boy was apprehended at the cemetery nearby, police said.

The boys were transported to the Alice police station and were taken to the Jim Wells County jail.
