Two women and an elderly man were transported to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the accident occurred when the female driver of a silver Ford passenger vehicle ran a stop sign at the intersection of Cecilia and South Reynolds Street.
The female driver of a gray Buick passenger car was traveling east when she collided with the silver vehicle.
Police, firefighters and EMS were called to the scene.
The elderly man was the passenger in the silver vehicle.
The driver of the silver Ford vehicle received a citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign. The driver of the gray Buick was cited for no driver's license and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
Traffic was at a standstill while the crash was investigated.
