If you could change anything in the world, what would it be? If I could change anything in the world I would change the price of tuition. In just the last 30 years the cost of tuition has quintupled. Putting many students in debt or forcing them to get loans that will most likely take them at least 20 years to pay off. Just to put things into perspective the average price of an undergraduate degree in 1987 was $39,643, and in 2016 the average undergraduate degree cost $103,616, that’s an increase of about 162 percent (numbers adjusted for inflation).

If you could invite three people to dinner, who would it be and why? Edith “Eddie” Windsor, she was an American LGBT activist who with her case, United States v. Windsor, overturned the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). To keep it concise, she had a wife named Thea Clara Spier whom she married in Canada since it was legal there. Once her wife died she became the inherited her wife’s estate and was required to pay $363,053 in taxes because their marriage was not recognized in the United States. She then decided to make case for herself, and with the help of her lawyers, she took the case all the way to the supreme court where they ruled that DOMA was unconstitutional. Donald Glover (Childish Gambino), an American singer, songwriter, and actor. Donald Glover has been a huge inspiration in my life for is great charity work and his career in all. If you didn’t know him for his great work in his FX show Atlanta or his work in Solo: A Star Wars Story. You will definitely know him from his Grammy award-winning song, This is America. Alex O’Connor (Rex Orange County), an English singer and songwriter. His music is very artistic and diverse and doesn’t actually have one single Genre to fit in. His music has helped me in many ways, mainly when I need to focus during homework.
