HOUSTON - Ben Bolt - Palito Blanco FFA members had a successful time at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, according to Audrey Sepulveda Soto, BBPB High School Agriculture Science Teacher.

Jefferson Rising showed his calf scramble heifer and placed eighth in his class.

Mike Moncada showed a Duroc pig, Brittany Buentello showed a Poland China pig and J.D. Ramirez showed a Dark Crossbred pig.

The FFA members ended the week at the rodeo by participating in the calf scramble. During which Moncada and Ramirez each earned a $1,750 calf scramble certificate to go towards the purchase of their next FFA animal SAE project.

Jewel Utley also represented our school proudly in the calf scramble, Soto said.

This was the students last major livestock show of the school year.
