The three campuses at San Diego Independent School District were placed on lockdown after a suspicious man attempted to gain access to the high school.
Sr. Sam Bueno called for the immediate lockdown on Tuesday after staff notified him of the incident.
"We went on a modified lockdown on all three campuses this morning for approximately two hours. We had an unidentified visitor at the high school who was not on our parent contact list make an attempt to visit a student," according to the release from the school district. "Law enforcement was contacted. The person has since been identified and he is not considered a threat."
The lockdown was lifted.
Law enforcement made contact with the subject in question and are still investigating the incident.
