Education, whether public or private schools, is the start of a life long career. Students at William Adams Middle School had the opportunity to visit with local businesses on Friday.

Students from WAMS, and St. Elizabeth and St. Joseph Catholic Schools were spoke with bankers, decorators, first responders and others to hear about the different professions available to them in Alice and the surrounding communities.

Students asked insightful questions such as what's the most dangerous part of the job, what's the most rewarding part and how they play a role in the community?

Students received brochures with other vital information they can use as they start to wonder about life outside of school.
