Alice Pediatric Clinic is pleased to have Tara Mendietta join their family as the newest nurse practitioner.
Mendietta received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in September of 2018.
She was a teacher for fifth and sixth grade students in Alice before she attended nursing school. She has helped the community as a home health registered nurse.
“I’ve had an opportunity to serve children through education and now I get to assist them on a whole different level,” Mendietta said. “Children are like a fountain of joy. I can never get enough of their innocent personalities and truthfulness. They are so vulnerable, yet so brave. Working with children is refreshing! Knowing that my job is to help kids achieve their full potential and to help them feel happier and better about themselves, brings a smile to my face. I am grateful for the opportunity to practice in my hometown. This town has molded my beliefs and ways and what better way to say thank you to such a wonderful community. Home is where the heart is..."
“Having Mrs. Mendietta as a provider is a true blessing to our practice,” said Dr. Erik Nisimblat.
“Alice Pediatric Clinic is family-oriented and well-established. They have been serving the Alice community for 45 years. The staff are very caring and are wholeheartedly involved in the health and well-being of their patients. The practice continues to be 100 percent invested in the Alice community and I’m so thankful to be apart of it now,” Mendietta said.
Mendietta is married to Arnold Mendietta Jr. and has two boys, 8-year-old Andros, and 5-year-old Nolán. She enjoys great company from family and friends.
“I’m super excited to become a provider to the littlest citizens and their families in Alice and the surrounding community," Tara Mendietta stated.
