SAN DIEGO - A 61-year-old San Diego man pled guilty to a possession of cocaine with intent to deliver charge Thursday.

According to district attorney officials, Juventino Mirelez took a plea agreement of eight years in a Texas prison.

"Drug dealers be aware. In the 229th District Court we do not take to kindly to (individuals) disturbing drugs," said Duval County Assistant District Attorney Kelli Palmarozzi.

Mirelez was raided several time over a number of years, but never officially arrested due to health issues. In May of 2017, Mirelez arrived at a court hearing when he was arrested on a warrant charge for violating his community supervision from 2010.

He was found with the cocaine during an April 2017 raid at his residence. The Central South Texas narcotics Task Force discovered Mirelez with more than four grams of cocaine.

Mirelez was taken back into the Duval County jail to wait for transport to a Texas prison.
