SAN DIEGO - More than 100 students from Bernarda Jaime Junior High were part of the annual promotion exercises on Thursday.
The eighth grade class ended the year, dressed in blue gowns, in front of their families.
On behalf of the future graduating Class of 2022, Valedictorian Alejandra Trevino and Salutatorian Corey Lazo thanked their supporters for helping them throughout the years. They remembered the good times with friends and looked to their future endeavors.
According to Claudette Garcia, San Diego High School principal, this future freshman class is the biggest cohort they have had at her campus with approximately 66 of the students enrolled in the Early College High School.
