SAN DIEGO - Police are searching for 26-year-old Dunn Everett of San Diego after a verbal argument led to a stabbing.

According to San Diego Police Chief Richard Nava, Everett and his 66-year-old father had an argument at a residence on the 700 block of South Trevino.

The victim's wife told police that Everett and his father were having an argument when they began rolling around on the ground. The victim's wife and brother ran over to help.

The victim, identified as Noe Everett, was taken to a Corpus Christi hospital via Halo Flight. He was stabbed once above the right eye, three times to the right side of his torso and also had two gashes on the top of his head.

According to family members, they have reason to believe the fight began when Dunn asked his father for money that he believed would be used to purchase narcotics.

Dunn fled the scene before police arrived and no weapon has been found. He is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and is also wanted on a parole violation.

Police urge anyone with information on Dunn's whereabouts to immediately call 9-1-1 or Duval County Crime Stoppers at 361-701-7014.
