FREER - Eighteen-year-old Jose Aguilar Jr. was arrested Thursday after he allegedly made a terroristic threat to the Freer High School.
According to Freer Police Chief John Spillers, the school called police after they found a handwritten letter that alarmed them.
An investigation was prompted which led to a warrant for the student.
He was transported to the Duval County jail and charged with terroristic threat. He was given a $10,000 bond.
As of Friday afternoon, Aguilar remained in custody.
The case is under investigation.
