Orange Grove police arrested a 14-year-old boy Tuesday for a burglary that occurred at the high school.

Orange Grove High School employees notified officers that someone had broken into the school's band hall.

Through a brief investigation officers had evidence to arrest the teenager.

According to Orange Grove Police Chief Roy Guerrero, the boy walked into the band hall, walked around for approximately five minutes before leaving the premises without taking any property.

The boy and two other OGISD students were arrested approximately two weeks ago in connection with a burglary that occurred in the city, Guerrero said.

He is also believed to have burglarized vehicles in the city.

The teen was taken to a juvenile detention center. He was charged with burglary of a building.
