Rosalinda M. Ybarra- 69 years of age passed to eternal life on Friday Feb. 10, 2017 in Corpus Christi after a long illness. She was born May 23, 1947 in San Diego, Texas to Vicente L. and Valeria Trevino Morin. Rosalinda was a housewife and full time mother and Grandmother. Always putting everybody’s needs before herself. She was a volunteer at the Agua Dulce ISD and involved with the education of many youngsters of Agua Dulce. She was also involved with the 4-H as a Leader for 14 years. She was very involved with the Agua Dulce Longhorn Band. She, along the side of her husband, they volunteer unconditionally to the St. Francis de Rome Catholic Church of Agua Dulce. Rosalinda also served her community and civic duties in many precinct 19 elections as presiding judge and election clerk over many elections including for School board trustees.
Rosalinda is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente L Morin Sr and Valeria T. Morin and one sister, Yolanda Trevino.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years of marriage, Tiburcio ”Yogi” Ybarra; three sons, Dennis (Esmer) Ybarra, Adrian (Raquel) Ybarra, Damian (Petra) Ybarra all of Alice, Texas, one daughter, Denise (Placido) Hinojosa of Kingsville, Texas; two brothers, Vicente (Yolanda) Morin Jr. of San Diego, Texas, Hector (Delia) Morin of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Evelyn Godines of Lindale, Texas, Diana Brown of Alice, Texas and Irma “Mona” (Prakob) Naksutti of Round Rock, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Other survivors include one special granddaughter, Heather Chapa and five half-sisters Sylvia Morin, Sandra Morin, Cynthia Morin, Dalia Morin Helen Morin and one half-brother, Freddy Morin all of Pasadena Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday Febuary 13, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. at Rosas Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 Tuesday February 14, 2017 at St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church of Agua Dulce, Texas. Burial will follow at the New Collins Cemetery of Alice, Texas.
