A woman with more than $100 worth of items was arrested Tuesday, Jan. 3 at a business on the 1100 block of East Main Street.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. Officer John De Leon arrived at the business and made contact with a business employee, another officer and the suspect Kelsey Elbel.
According to the employee, employees watched Elbel as she placed several items inside her purse, walk to a register and pay for one item only.

Barrera checked the purse and found 24 stolen pieces of merchandise that totaled $138.36.
