Five adults were arrested during separate raids in Duval County on Thursday, Nov. 3 and Friday, Nov. 4.

On Friday, agents with the Central South Texas Criminal Investigations Unit with the assistance of Duval County Sheriff's Department, San Diego Alice Police Departments executed two search warrants simultaneously at the 200 block of West Schaeffer St. and 600 block of South Victoria St. in San Diego.

Rene Lito Torres, 51, Elizabeth Reyes, 50, and Jose Gavino Trevino, 53, were arrested after agents seized approximately 20 grams of heroin that was packaged and ready for distribution along with several methadone pills.

They were transported to the Duval County jail and charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance and engaging in organized criminal activity.

On Thursday at approximately 4 p.m. agents with the Central South Texas Criminal Investigations Unit, Duval County, Jim Wells, Brooks Sheriff's Departments, and Alice and Freer Police Departments executed a probable cause narcotics search warrant at a residence on the 100 Block of North Fifth Street in Freer.

After searching of residence, agents seized approximately 60 grams of synthetic marijuana and 20 synthetic marijuana cigarettes ready for distribution.

Gary Benjamin Salinas, 21, and Emily Morin, 19, were arrested for manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.

Salinas was also charged with obstruction or retaliation, and resisting arrest, search, or transport.

Salinas and Morin were transported to the Duval County jail.
